Lord, You have said to call upon You in the day of trouble and You will deliver us (Psalm 50:15). I call upon You now and ask that You would work deliverance in my husband’s and me and my family’s lives and life. Deliver him and us from anything that binds us. Set us free from lack, lust, destruction, despair, illness, harm lies and temptation. Deliver him and us quickly and be a rock of refuge and a fortress of defense to save him and us (Psalm 31:2). Lift him and us away from the hands of the enemy (Psalm 31:15).
Bring him and us to a place of understanding where we can recognize the work of evil and cry out to You for help. If the deliverance we prays for isn’t immediate, keep him and us from discouragement and help us to be confident that You have begun a good work in us and will complete it (Philippians 1:6). Give him and us the certainty that even in our most hopeless state, when we find it impossible to change anything, You, Lord, can change everything. In Jesus Name Amen.
